The PHP "controlled grain" process gives the best
homogeneous fine grain size throughout the volume
Pechiney High Purity has developed a patented casting process called "controlled grain".
The grain size thus obtained is below 0.5 mm in as cast alloys.
Furthermore, since the controlled grain is perfectly
isotropic, the overall characteristics make the product exceptionally suitable and
reproducible for metallurgical processing operations.
