Mercus produces the high purity aluminum. After being cast and hot rolled, Froges delivers it as 4N foil to its customers.

Issoire plant belongs to Pechiney Rhenalu, a subsidiary of the French industrial group Pechiney, specialised in manufacturing aluminium rolled products (fourth largest producer worldwide) and hard-alloy aluminium extrusions. It includes sixteen mills and commercial offices in France.
With approx. 1400 people, Issoire is one of its major plants. The yearly average production of Issoire plant is 100 000 tons. 80 % of the production is exported to Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia.

Purity levels go from high grade Al 99.95% (3N5) for reflectors through 99.99% (4N) for the capacitor market up to 99.9995% (5N5) for the integrated circuits (sputtering targets)
