Light reflectors are made using high grade or refined aluminum products. PHP delivers as cast slabs, made with the most effient casting technologies in order to assure the best reflecting properties.

The ultra pure material produced by the PHP processes are known on a worldwide basis for their low alplha emitters properties. Uranium and Thorium mainly are typically lower than 1 ppb. Some specifications may require lower than 0.1 ppb.

Aluminium electrolytic capacitors are made of aluminium anode and cathode foils.

Anode foils must have a high and consistent surface capacitance. They are made from high purity foils whose surface is increased by an electrochemical etching treatment.

Cathode foils are usually thinner than anode foils and do not require high purity aluminum.

PHP Froges is a leading producer of high purity plain foil especially suited for etching treatments producing anode capacitor foil. This foil can be delivered in different specifications including various thickness, composition and surface properties. Usage may be low, medium or high voltage capacitors.

3N8 to 4N6 pure Al grades products (mainly 5 kg ingots) are used to adjust the composition of special alloys for small production units.

The Residual Resistivity Ratio (RRR) is a propertie of pure aluminum products which is used for the production of some superconductors wires (especially phsyics of particles at the CERN for example).
According to the purity, RRR range covers 700 to 8000 values.
PHP is used to deliver either small quanities or big (several 100 tons) with various shapes (billets, bars, plates)

Flat Panel Displays need a high degree of quality for their manufacturing; This is teh case for LCD/TFT panels using very large size sputtering target in pure and aluminum targets.
